1. Who we are
Billowa (“the Service”) is a point-of-sale, billing and online-ordering software service operated by Yoorie (“Yoorie”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@yoorie.com. These Terms are an agreement between Yoorie and the business that signs up (“you”, “the Customer”), and the people who use the Service on its behalf.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate business details, including your GSTIN where applicable, and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for everyone you add as staff, for keeping passwords and device pairing codes secret, and for everything done under your account.
- Tell us straight away at hello@yoorie.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Plans, trials and payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance in Indian Rupees for the period you choose. Prices are shown before you pay and include or exclude GST as stated at checkout.
- Free trials end on the date shown in your account. If you don’t choose a paid plan, your account becomes read-only; your data is kept as described in our Privacy Policy.
- If a payment fails, we may limit the account after a grace period shown in the app. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Your data and your customers
You own your business data (menu, bills, customers, reports). You give us permission to host and process it only to run, secure and support the Service. For personal data of your customers and staff, you are the Data Fiduciary and Yoorie acts as your Data Processor under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for giving any notices your customers are owed.
5. Tax and compliance
The Service helps you prepare GST-compliant bills, reports and (if you turn it on) e-invoices. You remain responsible for the correctness of your tax rates, HSN/SAC codes, invoices and returns, and for checking them before filing. Billowa is not tax or legal advice.
6. Payments collected from your customers
Online and QR payments are processed by third-party payment gateways under their own terms. Yoorie does not hold your customers’ money and is not a party to the sale between you and your customer. Refunds to your customers are your responsibility.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service for anything unlawful, to sell prohibited goods, to send spam, to try to break into or overload the Service or other customers’ accounts, or to copy or resell the Service without our written permission.
8. Availability and offline use
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The POS keeps working offline and syncs when the connection returns; bills that never sync (for example if a device is reset before syncing) cannot be recovered by us. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is unpaid after the grace period, or puts the Service or others at risk; where reasonable we will warn you first. After closure you can request an export of your data for 30 days.
10. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Yoorie is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will show the new date above and, for material changes, notify account owners by email or in the app at least 15 days before they take effect.
12. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first at hello@yoorie.com so we can try to resolve any issue; otherwise the courts at Yoorie’s registered place of business have exclusive jurisdiction.
